    The ambition of Carlisle College is to work collaboratively with schools and organisations that support young people, ensuring every young person is guided and supported to be successful in achieving their aspirations and progress in their working lives.

    As young people start to make their choices and plans for their future, they often turn to people who know them the most for help and support. Helping advise and inform a young person about pathways to work can be a challenge. Our team can work with your school to ensure staff and students have access to up-to-date information on the latest education and training options.

    Our school liaison service offers the opportunity for your students to receive correct information, advice, and guidance for them to make informed decisions about the options to take after their GCSE exams to place them on the right path for their desired career.

    Laura Whiteley

    Laura Whiteley

    School Liaison and Transition Co-ordinator

    Laura is the School Liaison and Transition Co-ordinator and has been at the College for nine years. Laura started at the college as a Beauty Therapy lecturer and has gained almost nine years of teaching experience. Laura has recently followed her passion of helping school children make informed choices to help them with their career by transitioning to this role. Laura has created strong connections with schools to establish the importance of every student being provided with the correct IAG for all future opportunities.
