Looking for a way to earn as you learn, whilst also gaining technical skills in automotive principles?
A Motor Vehicle Technician diagnoses and repairs light vehicles: such as cars and vans.
Working either in a dealership (that focus on a particular manufacturer) or for an independent garage (who deal with many different makes of vehicles).
You will have an interest in car mechanics, and you’ll be taught by industry-experienced tutors to get you ready for the fast-paced world of the automotive trade. Based in our modern and fully equipped 10-ramp workshop, you'll be studying a mix of key behaviours, practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
Motor Vehicle Technician apprenticeships concentrate on carrying out procedures to service/repair a component, use of wide range of diagnostic and testing equipment, ability to remove and fit essential vehicle parts. Plus, tasks based around customer care and interacting with peers.
