Preparation for Public Service – Level 2

• 4 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above, including either English or maths GCSE at grade 4 (C) or above

or

• Level 2 qualification with English and maths grade 3 (D) or Functional Skills Level 2

Upon successful completion of this course you will achieve a Level 2 Certificate in the Preparation for the Uniformed Protective Services.

Our tutors and work experience team will be on hand to help you find relevant placements.

English and maths is taught alongside this course, to help students enhance their skills if they were not able to achieve a GCSE grade 4 or above previously.

The course will help you build on your skills in a practical setting. You will learn how to use orientation and time, and improve your written and verbal skills.

Upon successful completion of this course you can progress onto one of our Level 3 courses. There is also the opportunity to enter employment or to undertake an apprenticeship.
