Construction

Our Construction workshops are based in our Main Building on Victoria Place, Carlisle. Students studying Construction will have access to the workshops during practical sessions, to gain an insight into the facilities and equipment used in the Construction industry.

We aim to provide our students with an excellent learning experience that gives them the practical skills to make a difference within the industry. At college, you'll embrace your independence, make lifelong friends and access our award-winning facilities and activities.

At Carlisle College, we aim to give you as many opportunities as possible to have fun alongside your studies, including guest speakers, work experience, trips and on-campus events.

You will have access to many learning spaces where our teams are on hand to help you with independent study, research and academic skills such as referencing. You will also have access to our Student Zone with excellent resources. 

On-site, there is a fully equipped coffee shop, catering kitchen and serving area open at peak times for students and staff, providing hot and cold food, drinks and a space to sit and eat.

If you don't fancy that, you can walk straight into the town centre, which hosts a variety of shops and nearby food places, including Greggs, Costa and McDonalds.
