Our annual graduation ceremony took place on Monday 8 July at Carlisle Cathedral.
At the ceremony, Principal Sarah McGrath told graduates "Embrace the future with confidence and optimism. Continue to learn, grow, and challenge yourselves. Seek out opportunities to collaborate and innovate, and never underestimate the impact you can make. Your journey is just beginning, and the possibilities are limitless. Congratulations."
It was our honour, to graduate 30 incredible, hard-working students. We take immense pride in ensuring our students are ready for their next steps, whether finding employment or continuing their studies.
This year we are pleased to partner with VL Aesthetics - Carlisle, to provide Aesthetics higher education students the opportunity to learn from top professionals and use state-of-the-art equipment. Thus, enabling them to be industry-ready from the time they finish their degree. We work closely with David Allen IT to support our computing courses and have close links with local primary schools for our Sports program. At Carlisle College, we're proud of our links to the local community and we have strong relationships with local employers to support with work experience opportunities.
Investment is important to us, and we continue to develop our facilities to enable high-quality training. This summer we opened our new construction academy, a £1.5 million investment which, will help us to develop our students' skills and provide them with a dynamic space to learn and practice. We pride ourselves in offering excellent training for our students and equipping them with the skills and experience to be industry-ready.
