The learners on our motor vehicle course have been going through an interview process to secure an industry placement with Mercedes in Carlisle. The successful applicants will have the special opportunity to work on site with Mercedes, learning and demonstrating more industry standard skills to help prepare them for future employment.
Those that are successful will be able to build their experience in the automotive industry, with experience being a vital part of job applications for when our students apply for jobs upon leaving college.
Those that are unsuccessful in their interviews still wholly enjoyed the experience of visiting Mercedes and the opportunity to interview and be given interview feedback. This experience will be invaluable for when they are seeking employment in the automotive industry upon leaving college.
