With state-of-the-art facilities, industry professionals and dedicated enthusiastic and innovative staff, Carlisle College offers you the opportunity to enter the exciting world of Hairdressing and Barbering. 

As well as classroom-based study, where you will benefit from learning in specialist facilities, our hairdressing courses also fully embrace an extensive Work Experience programme, including events and opportunities to put learning into practice. You will also assist in managing and running the College’s own commercial salon, Essence, which is open to the public. This will encourage you to deal with clients confidently, tactfully, and sympathetically.
