Motor Vehicle

With more than 33 million vehicles in the UK, there is a constant demand for well-trained technicians to keep them roadworthy. If you are hands-on, enjoy fixing things, are good at problem solving and finding faults, a career in the motor vehicle industry could be right for you. 

You will learn in the Carlisle College Motor Vehicle workshops which boasts 7 ramps with all the latest equipment including refrigerant handling, serial diagnostics, and hybrid/electric vehicles. The College is also a registered MOT test station with an Automated MOT Test Lane (ATL). 

The courses are delivered by experienced tutors who have experience within the industry and we work with local employers to deliver advanced masterclasses and experience of work for our students and apprentices.
